Storia
La bella fontana si trova nel giardino pubblico sito alle spalle della chiesa di Santa Maria presso S.Celso. Si trova ad un livello più basso del piano stradale in un’area semicircolare circondata da un muretto di mattoni ed è stata costruita dopo la seconda guerra mondiale.
Caratteristiche tecniche
Fontana a perdere di circa 15 mq costituita da un bacino circolare in cemento infossato e rivestito all’interno in mosaico azzurro, sormontato da una coppa con piccolo tamburo centrale. L’acqua zampilla dal centro del tamburo, ricade nella coppa e tracima nel bacino sottostante.

History
Built after the second World War, the fountain is in the public garden behind the church of Santa Maria of S. Celso. Located at lower level than the road surface, it’s in a semicircular area surrounded by a brick wall.
Technical features
It is about 15 square meters, it consists of a circular concrete basin covered inside with blue mosaic. It is surmounted by a cup with a small central drum. The water comes out of the center of the drum and falls into the bowl and finally flows into the basin below.

It is subject to the supervision of Superintendence for Architectural Heritage.

The project is dated after the Second World War.
